One of the most commonly encountered sharks in UAE coastal waters. Readily identified by the prominent black tips on all fins. Often seen in the surf zone and shallow coastal areas. Although responsible for a small number of biting incidents globally, attacks on humans are rare and usually involve mistaken identity.
